Functional medicine helps clinicians identify and ameliorate dysfunction in the physiology and biochemistry of the human body as a primary method of improving patient health. We are all unique, complex, and have an interwoven set of influences that affect and set the stage for developing disease or the maintenance of perfect health. All systems of the body of the body are related to each other and every other system.
